No-friction refunds — here's how.

$500 fix engagement — pre-pay ($250)
14-day no-questions refund window. If you have not yet received your “fixes ready” email (the moment we mark the engagement admin_pushed), email hello@counderscore-theshift.com within 14 days of your first $250 charge and we’ll refund the full $250 — no reason required, no comeback questions.
After delivery — once we’ve marked the engagement admin_pushed and emailed you the preview — the pre-pay is non-refundable. The work has been delivered. If something is materially out of scope or broken, we’ll fix it under the SLA’s 2 included revisions; we don’t refund work already shipped.
$500 fix engagement — post-pay ($250)
The second $250 unlocks the implementation files. Once we receive that payment and you download the artifacts, the payment is non-refundable. If the artifacts don’t match the preview you approved, email us — we’ll send the correct files at no extra charge.
Pro subscription ($49/mo)
14-day prorated refund per charge. Cancel inside Stripe’s customer portal and email us — we refund the unused portion of the current monthly charge.
Outside that 14-day window, the subscription is non-refundable for the current cycle but cancels at the period end — you keep access until the cycle is complete.
The 60-day Pro grant from a $500 engagement is never charged; if you don’t activate Pro before it expires, it ends quietly. We never auto-charge a card we don’t have on file.
How to request a refund
Email hello@counderscore-theshift.com with the subject line “Refund request” and your engagement ID or Stripe receipt number. We acknowledge within one business day and process the refund within 5 business days. The refund posts back to the original payment method.
